How does your engineering background benefit your Data Science work?
With over 5 years of experience in full-stack development, I bring a “production-first” mindset to Data Science. I don’t just build models; I understand how to integrate them into scalable architectures, manage APIs, and ensure they are user-ready.
What was the core focus of your Master’s Thesis at Siemens Energy?
My thesis focused on building an AI-powered equipment cost and metadata database. I designed a cloud-based repository using Snowflake and integrated LangChain with OpenAI to enable natural language (prompt-based) querying for lifecycle metadata.
What is your experience with Large-Scale Data and ETL?
In my current role at Siemens Energy, I manage high-volume datasets using Snowflake and SQL. I have extensive experience designing ETL pipelines to ingest, clean, and harmonize structured and semi-structured data like JSON and XML.
Which BI tools do you specialize in for data visualization?
I specialize in creating executive-level dashboards using Tableau and Power BI. I focus on transforming complex technical KPIs into actionable business insights to support data-driven decision-making.
What is your current availability and location?
I am currently finishing my Master’s degree in Data Science at Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen, Germany. I am actively seeking full-time opportunities and, while currently based in Erlangen, I am fully open to relocating throughout Germany for the right role.
